The Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner mark a significant evolution in the Yeezy sneaker aesthetic, shifting from an elegant and minimalist design to a more robust one, inspired by 90s style. This model represents a transition between knit running sneakers, such as the 350, and the skateboard look of the 550.

The Yeezy 700 Wave Runner feature an upper made of black suede with green mesh overlays. The design is completed by a thick boost sole, enhanced by orange accents and light yellow laces.

These new Yeezy 700 were previewed during the unveiling of the Yeezy Season 5 collection and made available for pre-order, before being released in November 2017. Although it took a few months for them to gain widespread consensus in the streetwear world, today they are practically impossible to find, with many people regretting not having purchased them on the Yeezy Supply website at the time of launch.
